I'm a rustic, brought up in the depths of Cornwall, but let loose on the real world at the age of 18. This, combined with my cultured side has made me into what I am today: an English eccentric, of which I'm proud. I'm married and spend many hours yomping the Welsh countryside in search of castles; piles of rubble are brought to life by my husband's tales of kings, their mottes and baileys. I otherwise walk for miles in the countryside looking for stray saplings to add to my growing arboretum. I am a freelance personal assistant and proprietor of a private medical concierge service, and a part-time PhD student at the University of Reading, researching the Hanoverian and early Georgian monarchy.
